Lauren & Kenny ● Lubbock, TX

What a great morning I had with this couple. They are expecting a baby girl, Brynnli, in October. (Lauren doesn't think it will be THAT long before she makes her debut) On another note, I'm so glad Lauren and Kenny were so flexible. We originally scheduled an evening session; however, we met reallllllyyyy early on a beautiful Sunday morning. We spent some time in downtown Lubbock before making our way to a nice field. I had a great time with you two! Here are several of my very favorite shots...Oh, and remember: you can click an image to make it larger. :]

^^ Aren't they just a beautiful couple?!

Brynnli is going to be a baby model. No doubt!

Thank you SO much for letting me be a part of this special time in your lives. I hope you love the images as much as I do! Lauren and Kenny TOTALLY rocked it, right?!

HUGE UPDATE ● Part II

I hope you enjoyed all of the images. I hate to have to cram them all into one post, but I had to :[. Now that I'm all caught up, I wanted to let you all know that I will not be able to accept any sessions other than high school seniors, children or small groups for right now. This means I won't be able to do weddings, special occasions, etc. Though I love to be involved in such occasions, I simply do not have the time to devote to such a task. I would hate to not put my whole heart into a project! I loved getting to work with you all and I hope to meet new people soon! For questions regarding anything and everything about a session, please e-mail me.

Also, be sure to visit the website! (this is just the blog)

Thank you so much! I can't wait to share more soon!

Beware of the puppy scam!

I understand that this has absolutely nothing to do with photography...
I have just been searching for a puppy for a while now and have learned quite a few things that I wanted to share. Hopefully this post will show up on google when individuals search for certain things. Just today, I ended conversation with a puppy scammer.

drbenjaminmadison@yahoo.com

That's the email address that homepuppies1@aol.com led me to.

Obviously, they're in cahoots with one another...

The "Dr." said that the puppy was ready to be shipped from vetpet-relocation.com which also seems to be a bit fishy.

Now that I've ranted about that, here are a few more tips I've picked up along the way:
1. If they don't offer you a REAL phone number where they can be contacted, stop the deal.
2. If they're overseas, or say they got a "new job" and had to move overseas...they pup is probably fake!
3. Western Union is fishy. Avoid it at all costs.
4. Request lots and lots of information. :] (That's how I caught this last person in their scamming act.) I requested a picture of the puppy...and the picture had to include a piece of paper with my name on it. Pretty smart, huh? :] Needless to say, I never got the picture.

I will now list a few other email addresses that I have been in contact with about fake puppies...
sanderslu37@gmail.com
leanevert@yahoo.com
lauraholmess@yahoo.com
suzidemma@yahoo.com
terwing2010@gmail.com

This is just my experience with finding a puppy. I am fed up with it. People need to know. Just sayin'

Allison • SHS Senior 2011 (Part I)

I feel so old...my niece is graduating in May! It's so hard to believe that either one of us is old enough to be venturing off into the real world. Anyway, Alli and I might as well have been sisters. We fight, stick up for one another, have inside jokes and some people say we even LOOK like sisters...I take the last one as a compliment. She is so pretty. I love my Alli-bob! This is one post of many that will feature some of her Senior pictures...We'll be taking them throughout the year to make sure she has plenty to hold on to! Here are a few of my favorites from our first outing! Enjoy.

MY FAVORITE! :]

Mr. and Mrs. Varela ● Lubbock, TX

Jamie and Tony's wedding was great. I had a ton of fun with this family...which is hard NOT to do! :] Jamie looked beautiful and Tony cleans up pretty nicely as well! There are soooo many images that I like...that I had to double up on a few! There are more where these came from, so keep an eye out and maybe you will see more in the near future. Congratulations, Newlyweds! You deserve nothing but the best. I wish you many blessings!

Toddlers & Tiaras • Seminole, Texas

My little cousin, Rihanna, is such a doll. She has done very well in all the pageants she has entered in her young life. Her parents asked if I would snap a few of her for an upcoming pageant and I'm glad I did. She is so adorable and totally works the camera!! Good luck, girl! :D

The Ply Boys • Denver City, Texas

Chris and I were FINALLY able to make it to Braylon's t-ball game. GO SOX! They did a great job. Keigan and Kyle, the momma and daddy of these two adorable boys, coached the team this year. Keigan trusted us to watch Brody while she kept books for the game. I'm so glad I had my camera. Little boys are so animated! Congratulations on the great t-ball season, Ply family!

He was having fun

Braylon had a little fall. Luckily, Kyle was right there to help him up!

The man of the hour :]

Brody...being sweet

I see a modeling career in his future ;]

Stephanie • Seminole, Texas

So, I offered to do my sister's hair for a wedding she is in today. (Congratulations, Emily!!!) I must say, I did a pretty good job, with the help of Alli. Oh, and Alli did her makeup. She looked sooo awesome we had to run out and snap a few shots! Hope you had a blast, Steph. At least you looked good doing it :D Enjoy, everyone!!!

The Armstrong Family • Seminole, Texas

Sooo, Robyn asked me to take a few pictures of her family. :] They wanted a new picture to give to their grandparents as an anniversary gift. We met this morning and I hope I captured a few shots that they will love! I had a great time and this family is a lot of fun to be around!! Not to mention, they're all very good looking! :D Thanks you guys for letting me do this for y'all! I'm only posting two pictures because there were so few poses. However, I hope you all enjoy! Oh, and if you EVER want to see an image larger, just click on it. :D!

This family is full of energy, fun and attitude...as you can tell ;]

I told you they were a good lookin' bunch! (my favorite...next to the one above ;])

Chago - Seminole Senior

I have known Chago for...a REALLY long time...Seriously, like since we were three. Anyway, he asked me to do his senior pictures soooo, I couldn't say no. We had originally scheduled his session for Thursday the 15th. But, as the residents of Lubbock recall, that's when the rain decided it wanted to come down. And it didn't stop until Sunday! Luckily, Sunday was beautiful and I was able to squeeze in two sessions. Jamie&Tony's and Chago's! Here are a few favorites from Chago's session.
